Computer won't recognize CD ROM Drive, Help!

I tried to install an additional hard drive but failed. I
accidently deleted some files and now my computer wont
recognize my CD ROM Drive. When I try to reinstall my CD
ROM Drive under the "Add New Hardware" I get a message
that asks for my Windows 95 CD. The file name is
mkecr5xx.mpd I don't know how to get this file because I
can't access the CD Rom Drive. Catch 22. Can somone please
help me to figure out this problem. My daughter needs to
use this computer for school and she is falling behind.

If you can't copy this file from the CD then download it from the www
instead.
