I am receiving this error message wjile running
scandisk. "scandisk was unable to correct an error bacause
it was unalbe to create a file" any suggestions on how to
correct this problem?

Scandisk creates its files in the root folder, and there is often a limit on
how many files can be stored in c:\. Look at the contents of the root
folder on C and if there's a lot of files there then delete whatever files
you don't need. If the root folder is being filled up with files that
Scandisk is creating then you have a major disk problem and you should not
be using a tool like Scandisk to repair the damage (it is not intended for
this level of data recovery, hence the error you are getting).
