Hi,

I have a document written in Windows 95 Microsoft Works
4.0 word processor program. I need to convert the
document to either Microsoft Word for Windows 6.0 or
Wordperfect. Please tell me the name of a converter that
will do this and how I can obtain it. Many thanks. Please

Open the file in Works and then go to File, Save As. Scroll through the
list of file types to see if RTF (rich text format) is one of the file types
listed. Be sure to save the file with the .rtf extension. Once done, you
can open this file with Microsoft Word, WordPerfect or just about any other
word processing program.

You may need to install the necessary Works converters to have this option.
See the Help files in Works or post your question to the newsgroup that
supports Works.
