Do you know how to create a CD that will do an auto-install? I want my
CD-RW to have the needed software (SETUP.EXE) to launch automatically.

You need to put an autorun.inf file in the root directory. That
program will tell the OS what to run when the disk is inserted.

Here's a description of the file:

And here's a freeware tool that will help you create one (but the
format is simple enough that you can probably do it yourself):

Bear in mind autorun security is being tightened up a lot in Windows,
and also that many setup.exe programs will only work elevated with Admin
rights.

In general, you can use the UDF file system with CD-RW, you don't need a
setup.exe program (unless it's encrypted or something).

Side note:

Many malware uses auto-run. So use gpo to prevent unnecessary "auto-run"
